IMAGERY
The night is the stage, the people are the subject. Pictures show how it feels to be there, not what a flyer looks like. Until there are real photos, a gradient in the brand colours carries the event art.
Photography
Real nights, real people, with consent and a credit. A group laughing by the cloakroom beats a DJ from behind with their hands in the air.
- Groups and moments between people: arriving, waiting, the dance floor at four.
- The room's own light. Dark is fine, grain is fine, flash only if that's how it was.
- Every scene taken as seriously: a hardcore hall and a basement club get the same eye.
- Always with the consent of anyone recognisable, and the photographer's name with it.
- No stock photos of parties that don't exist.
- No alcohol or drugs as the subject, nobody visibly under the influence.
- No minors in shot at an 18+ night.
- No filters that imitate the brand colours: the colour comes from our layer, not the photo.
Event art
The organiser's poster comes first; we never crop into its text or put anything over it. Without a poster the platform draws a gradient of two brand colours at 135 degrees, the same for each night, with the title in Unbounded. An event card always has a band of ink under the title so the text stays readable.
- Poster first, in its own ratio; if it doesn't fit, an ink border, never a stretch.
- Without a poster: a gradient from pink, violet, amber, teal or orange, never lime, never a new colour.
- Text over images only on the ink band (at least 72% opacity).
- An artist with their own photo gets that photo, with the source under it.
Motion
Motion says something happened, never that something must happen. Short, ease-out, and gone when the system asks for less motion.
- Changing view
- Fade-up, 300 ms, ease-out, 8 px up.
- Sheets and dialogs
- Slide up, 320 ms, cubic-bezier(.2, .8, .2, 1), with the one shadow we use.
- Success
- The Meet logo animation: the P's slide together, the overlap lights up. Once, never in a loop.
- Live
- A dot that pulses, 1.6 s, only for something happening now.
- Numbers
- Meters and bars run to their value in 600 ms. A number itself never jumps.
- Less motion
- With prefers-reduced-motion everything rests on the final frame. No information is lost.
