Two P's, for Party and People, face each other. Where their bowls overlap a third colour appears: the moment a crowd becomes a party. The mark never appears without that overlap.
Mark
Colour
The default, on dark and on light. No outline, no shadow.
Everything sits on a 64 by 56 grid. The stem is 8 units wide, the bowl has a radius of 12 (one and a half stems) and the two bowls overlap by 16 units. The overlap is the circle of the left bowl, in amber.
Lockups
Horizontal
The default for headers, footers and partner placements. The wordmark's capitals sit on the middle of the mark.
Leave at least the width of one P clear around the logo. No text, border or other image in that zone.
x = width of one P
Minimum size
Horizontal
18 px high, about 120 px wide. The wordmark is then 14 px; any smaller and it stops being readable.
Stacked
56 px high, for the same reason.
Mark
16 px, the size of the favicon. When a lockup does not fit, use the mark alone.
Do
Colour on ink or on cream.
White or ink when only one colour is possible.
Use the files on this page; never redraw.
Write the name as PartyPPL, one word.
Don't
Don't rotate
Don't recolour
Don't separate the P's
No outline or shadow
Don't stretch
Motion
Four motions, one rule: the P's move, the overlap reacts. Ease-out, 200 to 600 ms, never more than one bounce. Anyone who asks for less motion gets the still mark.
MeetWhen something worked: the P's slide together and the overlap pops.PulseAn event is live, someone joined.Bounce'I'm going' confirmed, a tap on a tab.LoadingThe overlap orbits while something loads.
Your system asks for less motion, so you see the final frame.
Files
SVG for anything that scales, PNG with a transparent background in three or four sizes. The wordmark is converted to shapes, so you need no font.
